Over The next few years Bob-o-link Golf Course, a big part of Avon’s landscape for more than 50 years, will become a 27-hole facility. Approximately 45 acres was sold to Lorain County Metro Parks system. This land will remain green space and it will allow us to operate as a family business for many years into the future.

In making this transition, we will be able to operate as a 36 holes layout through 2024. During that time, we will make several modifications to the existing Red and White course to create a new 9-hole layout. We intend to make the transition from 36 holes to 27 holes without interference to play. The current Blue and Gold courses will not be affected by the changes. These changes will allow us to continue to improve the golf course and build a larger driving range/practice area.

We are very appreciative of the continued support that has made our family owned and operated golf course a staple in Avon for over 50 years. Moving forward, the Fitch family is proud and happy to continue to offer a beautiful facility, while also preserving green space in Avon. We will also continue to support the Avon golf teams and work with local charities and fund raisers which support Avon and the surrounding communities.

Our family has had roots in Avon for many generations and this city will always be part of our heart and soul.
